Modern carpet technology has come a long way. Today's stain-resistant fibers, built-in antimicrobial treatments, and eco-friendly materials offer performance that previous generations of carpet simply could not match. Whether you prefer plush, textured, Berber, or patterned styles, we carry options from trusted manufacturers that balance beauty with durability.

Proper carpet installation is about more than just stretching and tacking. Our team ensures seams are invisible, patterns are aligned, and the right pad density is used for each application. The result is carpet that feels luxurious underfoot and maintains its appearance for years.

Where does carpet still make the most sense?

Carpet is the best floor for bedrooms, upstairs hallways, stairs, and family rooms, where warmth, quiet, and a soft landing matter more than easy mopping. It is the wrong choice for wet entries, kitchens, baths, and rooms with regular pet accidents, where LVP or tile will outlast it by years.

Half of a good carpet job is the half you never see: the pad density, the power stretching, and where the seams land. Those choices get made at the free estimate, in your rooms, and they are the difference between carpet that looks fresh in year eight and carpet that ripples in year two.

Carpet Installation Questions

What carpet padding should I choose?

For most bedrooms and living spaces, an 8 pound rebond pad around 7/16 inch thick is the sweet spot of comfort and support, while stairs and high-traffic runs want a firmer, denser pad that holds the carpet tight. We match the pad to each room rather than quoting one pad for the whole house, because the pad wears out before good carpet does.

Is carpet a good choice for stairs?

Carpet is one of the best choices for stairs because it quiets footsteps and gives kids, seniors, and pets real traction where falls actually happen. Stairs wear out flooring faster than any room, so we spec a denser carpet and firmer pad there and wrap the nosings tight so the treads wear evenly instead of fraying at the edge.

How long does carpet installation take?

Most whole-room carpet installs are done in a single day, including tearing out the old carpet, fixing squeaks in the subfloor, and hauling the old material away. Larger jobs that span multiple rooms and a staircase usually run two days, and we give you the schedule room by room before we start.

Is carpet or LVP better for a basement?

LVP is the safer basement floor because concrete slabs can wick moisture that carpet pads absorb and hold, but carpet can work in a dry, well-conditioned basement where comfort is the priority, especially over a moisture-rated pad. We take slab readings during the free estimate and let the numbers pick the floor, not the catalog.
